This is my blogging goal for T3 I try really hard to get as many posts up as I can.

Battle of the mountains

 Battle of the mountains-
character description:

Mt Tongariro
Mt Tongariro is a brave and is a noble mountain.  He loves Mt Pihanga and fights for her love against Mt Taranaki.  Eventually Mt Tongariro won the battle because he was fit and courageous and never gave up his love for Mt Pihanga.

Mt Pihanga
Mt Pihanga is a mountain who is caring and loving.  She is gentle friendly and is softhearted.  Mt Pihanga moves swiftly around and is loyal when other mountains are fighting for her.

Mt Taranaki
Mt Taranaki is staunch and aggressive mountain.  He gets angry and frustrated at Mt Tongariro when fighting for the love of Mt Pihanga.  Mt Taranaki then gets embarrassed when losing Mt Pihanga for Mt Tongariro.

Mt Tauhara
Mt Tauhara is cowardly and chicken hearted.  He was gutless and sneaky when pouring lavar over Mt Tongariro.

Mt Putauaki
This mountain is Mt Putauaki is just like Mt Tauhara and a;so gets ashamed and embarrassed.  He is soppy and ties to be romantic with Mt Pihanga.

This is a character description on the mountains.

Blog comment

This is a comment that I have sent to Sila in room 1.

Poetry this week

Volcano
Magma,
Melted, molten rock,
Like soup that boils,
In a crock...

Beneath the Earth,
It rolls and roils,
Beneath the Earth,
It turns and toils...
Pressure grows,
Magma escapes,
Blows through holes,
Of different shapes...
Mountain cones,
Ring of fire,
Volcanoes blow,
Ash flies higher!
Magma flows,
Becomes hot lava,
Cools to make,
A place like Java...
Magma comes,
From underground,
And flows in lava,
All around...
Listen now,
Don't interrupt,
When volcanoes blow,
They do erupt!

Your Challenge:

  1. List the facts about volcanoes that you have found in this poem.
  • Magma boils in a crock.
  • When volcanoes blow ash flies higher.
  • Volcanoes erupt when pressure goes up.
  • Magma grows from underground.
  • When volcanoes blow they do erupt.
  • Magma flows in lava all around.

  1. Highlight the ‘volcano’ topic words yellow.
  2. Highlight the verbs (action words) green.

Typing test results

This is my Typing test results.  It shows that I got 25 words correct in 1 minute.

Mentos and Coke chellenge

This is Miss Paton.  When she went to the Google Teachers Academy in Chicago she was picked to do a chellenge where she had to use a bottle of Coke and a packet of Mentos.  Miss Paton had to get a Mentos and stand on a chair and try and flick a Mentos into the bottle of Coke.  She got it in on the first try and only had 1 minute to do it.  This is a picture that shows Miss Paton very happy  getting the Mentos in.

Down below is me attempting this chellenge, it was very hard and only some of us got it in.

Well done Miss Paton!

This is Miss Paton telling us about when she went to Chicago for the Google Academy.  She was 1 of the 60 people who was chosen to go. Miss Paton had a spectacular time and she said that it was a fantastic experience.  There was a lot of things that Miss Paton has learnt and she can now share what she has learnt with the kids and teachers at PBS.
