Narrative (The Swimming Car)

The Swimming Car

It was a lovely summers day on Saturday morning, just the right day to go fishing! Bob was on his way to the nearest wharf, which was in Panmure.  He was so excited to catch a nice size snapper, and enjoy the peaceful vibe of being out in the sea.  “Finally” he sighed, we are here!  As he hopped out of his car.  Bob forgot to put the handbrake on, not knowing there was a small hill.  As he attempted to gather his gear out of the boat, the car decided it would roll down the small but very steep hill leading it into the welcoming water.  “This is a disaster” Bob thought to himself! FUMING with frustration! As the unpleasant anmure wharf was laughing at him while it was stealing his car and nearly his boat.

Bob didn't know what to do! As he was finding a way out of this tragedy.  Luckily his a car stopped moving forward, not far from shore, and about 2 metres away from where his boat was.  Bob sat there, and sat there and thought of what he could do… He decided to call one of his friends “Richard”.  Bob’s heart was racing begging to himself for Richard to please answer the phone.

It seemed to him like Richard was an angel out of heaven when he saw the beautiful sight of help!  Bob and Richard sat on the side of the wharf and tried to come up with an idea to save the car.  However Bob had already thought to himself beforehand what they could do.  “How about we hook the boat up to your car and hook the car up to the boat and then we could maybe tow both boat and car out of the water”.  Not long after the boat was slowly making progress as the car was too.  With a little help from the locals the boat and the car were out of the water in know time.

As Bob was thanking Richard gracefully they both decided to go and munch on a burger with a ice cold beer.  Bob thought to himself thats the last time he’ll be going fishing for a very time, still terrified of what his wife's going to say when he gets home, about leaving the handbrake on!

This is my narrative that I wrote based on just looking at a picture and writing about it.
